RAYO- Picante Rápido
Rayo had always burned hot.
Fast thoughts.
Fast decisions.
Fast movement.
He spoke before hesitating.
Leapt before planning.
Dreamed before doubting.
Some creatures admired this.
Others found it exhausting.
“Calmate,” they told him constantly.
Relax.
Slow down.
Be realistic.
For a while, Rayo tried.
He tried sitting still.
Being careful.
Acting “reasonable.”
It felt like clipping his own wings.
Then one afternoon he discovered a flavor called Picante Rápido at a crowded street market: chili, paprika, salt, and limón sharp enough to wake up the entire world.
One bite hit like lightning.
Bright.
Intense.
Impossible to ignore.
And suddenly Rayo understood something important:
his intensity was never the problem.
Fear was.
Fear made people shrink.
Fear made people settle.
Fear convinced people to live half-awake.
Rayo decided he would rather burn brightly than disappear quietly.
Now he races through life exactly as he wants:
trying new things,
starting conversations,
chasing adventures,
and encouraging nervous creatures to take the leap they keep postponing.
Sometimes he crashes spectacularly.
Sometimes he succeeds spectacularly.
Either way…
at least he’s flying.
