Migas

MIGAS- Caos Dulce

Migas had always been told he was “too much.”

Too curious.
Too distracted.
Too interested in shiny nonsense nobody else cared about.

While other raccoons searched for practical things, Migas collected tiny treasures:
buttons, candy wrappers, broken charms, old ticket stubs, colorful bits of string.

He carried them everywhere in a patched-up orange bag that bounced against his side wherever he wandered.

“Basura,” people called it. Trash.

But Migas secretly believed every lost object carried a story.

One night, while wandering through a noisy street market, he caught the smell of cinnamon, sugar, chili, and warm popcorn drifting through the air. A tiny striped paper bag sat abandoned near a glowing cart.

One bite changed everything.

The flavor exploded like fireworks in his brain.

Sweet. Spicy. Chaotic. Impossible to ignore.

For the first time in his life, Migas realized:
maybe his strange little mind wasn’t broken.

Maybe it was adventurous.

Maybe curiosity was its own kind of magic.

That night he emptied his bag onto the sidewalk and looked at his treasures differently. Not as junk. As memories. As possibilities.

Now Migas travels from town to town collecting beautiful forgotten things and helping others rediscover the parts of themselves they almost threw away.

He still causes problems occasionally.

But now he calls it creativity.
