Manso

MANSO- Hierbas Tranquilas

Manso never understood why everyone was in such a hurry.

The river still flowed at the same speed.
The trees still grew slowly.
Mate still tasted better when shared patiently.

Yet everywhere he looked, creatures rushed through life as if relaxing were something to feel guilty about.

Faster.
Bigger.
More productive.

Even vacations somehow became stressful.

For a while, Manso tried to keep up.

He bought planners.
Made schedules.
Set alarms.

It was terrible.

One afternoon, exhausted from trying to live like everyone else, he wandered into a small outdoor market and discovered a popcorn flavor made with herbs, garlic, olive oil, salt, and cheese.

Simple.
Warm.
Peaceful.

He sat beneath the shade of a tree with a fresh mate in his paws and took one slow bite after another while the world buzzed noisily around him.

And suddenly he had a revolutionary thought:

maybe life is not an emergency.

The realization changed everything.

Now Manso spends his days gardening, floating lazily through rivers, helping overwhelmed creatures slow down, and reminding everyone to breathe once in a while.

He still gets things done.

Just…
without acting like the universe will collapse if he takes a nap first.
